Life is short.
Among the many things we have learned recently, we have also been reminded that it can also be taken away from us in an instant.
Indiscriminately.
If anyone had told us even just a year ago that our lives would be changed irrevocably, overnight, by an unseen and deadly virus we would have laughed it off as sci -fi fantasy.
And yet here we are.
Of that very short life we spend 60% of it at work.
Pre COVID 3 out of 5 people were unhappy in their work and careers.
Post COVID with lock down and the blurring of lines between work and life I would imagine that may now be even higher.
The security of steady employment was a myth even before COVID, but COVID has exposed that .... clearly.
So if you haven’t already, it’s time to upgrade your mindset.
Upgrade your mindset from that of an ‘EMPLOYEE’ where you abdicate responsibility for your career, future, and success to someone else.
Become a ‘CREATOR and MANIFESTOR’ where you take full responsibility for your security, stability and identity so you can create and work to achieve your own vision of success.
It has never been a better time to pursue what you want and Create the Career you Want.
Sounds scary… after all there are so many job losses, uncertainty and insecurity?
That is exactly the reason why.
Who knows you best?
So who should be responsible for your career and life?
Reclaim who you are and reclaim your power.
HOW?
Start by answering the question “What do I want…. really want”
Get a blank sheet of paper, write that question at the top of it and then let the words come.
Uncensored.
Freely.
Openly.
Write down everything that comes to mind.
Without judgement.
