Today I was messaging back and forth on WhatsApp to a very dear friend of mine about 2020. We were sharing what a tough year it had been for so many people and for both of us, even more so, as we each had our own personal challenges to overcome.
Then she said something that struck me.....
"I don't want to plan for next year as I don't know what to expect"
This is what I said to her and am now sharing with you too...
"My dear friend....we never truly know what to expect .....so plan anyway.
Plan beautiful, creative, life-affirming things.
Plan to take care of yourself.
Plan to have the life you want.
Defer nothing.
2020 was an awakening or reawakening as to what is really important.
How adaptable and resilient we are,
How we are so much stronger and courageous than we think we are.
2021 is about Emergence and that is what 2021 is about for me.
I'm going to continue to do what I love.
for myself and for those I serve,
being super successful doing it
AND looking after me while doing it too.....
because it is possible to do both."
So my dears....
Plan,
Strive,
Enjoy,
Do,
Believe
and take care of you.....
most of all take care of you.
Farewell 2020.
Welcome, welcome, welcome 2021.
