Mental Health Awareness Week begins today and hopefully it will spark a lot more conversations, help a lot of people, and hasten ending the stigma attached to a condition that affects so many of us.
If you manage to read my post among the many others today I would like you to join me on my 5 day Mental Health Awareness Week Challenge. Each day I will post one small challenge that I will be undertaking and invite each of you to do it too. Not only will it make you feel better, it may help someone else feel better too.
So today's Mental Health Awareness Day challenge from me is simply this…
CHALLENGE 1: Smile at 3 people you don’t know today.
Its that simple. A genuine open and honest, sincere smile. As you move through your day, consciously look out for an opportunity to let one rip – while your out getting your lunch, when you climb into a lift, as you walk to the tube and dare I say it when you are on the tube! Just smile….. and let us know what happened.
