CHALLENGE 2: Step away from your desk.
47% of London is green spaces so there is probably a green or peaceful space close to your office even if you are in the heart of the city. If you're not in London then I hope that wherever you are in the world there is a place where you can get away from your desk, be in the fresh air and see the sky.
So as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, my challenge for you today should you choose to take it, is to take at least ONE 10 minute break and get out of the office and into the fresh air. This break should preferably be in addition to your lunch break (which I am assuming you have the good sense to be taking already!) It is a beautiful day today in London .
Take a moment to walk in the sun and top up your Vitamin D, take a few deep breaths and reconnect with yourself.
P.S. If you think you’re far too busy to take a 10 minute break you probably need it more than most!
